I've been interested in Ghost for years. And have pictures of one Ghost taken when we visited the Menzies Castle in 1979 for my daughters christining. Back then it was all locked up and the grounds keeper had to let us in. There was no furniture and the 3rd floor was been renovated as the floor were all pulled up so we could not go on it. When we were outside my husband noticed the windows were all different so took pictures of each one one the 3rd floor. It wasn't until we had them developed; into slides; that we saw her! The lady in White as I call her has her hair up and I believe it to be a lace Shawl around her shoulders and pinned in the middle near her waist. We plan to go back to Scotland and stay at the cottages on the property next year sometime. I also use the Quija Board and have talked to and help soles on the otherside for years. I do not conside the Board evil as some have. I still require proof of ghost as every bump in the night does not mean its a ghost. But in the same breath I know their is the otherside. Welcome to our site! That's a very interesting tale about the castle. It's difficult to imagine it empty and derelict as it has obviously been well restored. It would be really interesting to see the photo of the lady. I know that a lady has been seen on the 1st floor quite often. Perhaps it's the same person. I think you will enjoy your visit there next year. I have similar views to you. I've had enough proof to satisfy myself that paranormal events do happen. However, I don't jump at every little noise and beleive that every ghost sighting is real. There are explanantions for most things but other things are just too weird for words at times... |
